I have participated in this event with my eight year old daughter. The event staff were so friendly, and carefully explained the details of baking breads. We were so excited to see, smell and taste French breads and pastries! All the bakery’s staff were very friendly and so welcoming. We are sure that we’ll be back again and participate in this event , as breads they bake are different every day, and we really would like to taste again fresh baked breads!

Loved the idea of seeing the kitchen and learning how baguettes are made but standing in a small space on top of a 500 fahrenheit ...degree oven for 40 minutes is just too much. Then we went downstairs to where the pastries were made and they seemed to be cleaning up for the day. It was much cooler downstairs, but we really only saw a large professional slab of butter. Loved the baguette and croissant samples -- all in all, would have preferred it was 30 minutes (15 in bread kitchen and 15 in pastry kitchen) and then back out to front of store for more samples than just the two, so 45 minutes in all rather than 1 hour. more
