Due to the wildfire on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge this tour will be running on a modified itinerary. Once the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge is open, the tour will return to its regular itinerary.
Enjoy spectacular views of Mt Hood which stands 11,245 feet seen from Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark. Next we visit the Hood River fruit growing region and visit the charming historic town of Hood River. We will then visit the Colombia River Gorge waterfalls, such as Bridal Veil Falls, Latourell Falls, Wahkeena Falls, Multnomah Falls, Horse Tail Falls and Crown Point Vista House (the most visited natural site in Oregon), to astounding views of the mountain ranges, forestry growth and more.

Drive the Columbia River Highway
Hear the thundering water and feel the mist of water as you stand at the base of Multnomah Falls, the second highest waterfall in the U.S. Look at the different types of moss, lichen and fern that grow in this picturesque environment and even see a number of other waterfalls during your visit.
Bonneville Fish Hatchery
Discover how millions of salmon and steelhead are raised at the Hatchery. See the Sturgeon Center and natural fish ponds and visit the Historic Egg Incubating Building, where you can meet "Herman" the sturgeon, a prehistoric fish plus a chance to feed massive rainbow trout in the natural fish ponds.

Explore the Town of Hood River
Soak in the sights of the area as your guide goes over the history of the land and the region’s culture. You will also be able to choose from one of many restaurants that offer views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams for your lunch and an opportunity to visit many boutique shops and wine tasting rooms.
Continue to Rowena Crest, a beautiful landscape that gives you a perfect view of the Cascade Mountains and the Columbia River Gorge. Take in the incredible sight of the crest as you drive to and from the viewpoint. Head back to the Hood River where you will visit Mt. Hood.
Stop at one of the many local fruit stands to sample and purchase fruits, jams, syrups, smoothies and other local produce. The area is known for a variety of apples, pears, cherries and peaches. Availability of fruits would depend if they are in season.
During summertime, do fun activities such as fishing, camping or hiking when you visit Trillium Lake. See beautiful wildflowers which are abundant in the area and admire your view of Mt. Hood. Make sure to bring your camera and take snaps of this amazing place.
Mt. Hood and Timberline Lodge
Arrive in Mt. Hood, Oregon's tallest peak. Take in the sights of waterfalls and wildlife when you go hiking or camping. There are also ski areas like the Timberline, where its own lodge has attracted visitors for its architecture. You may visit areas that are open to the public during your stay.
Trips to Mount Hood
