About Prague Zizkov Monument

Erected to commemorate the bravery of General Jan Zizka, the Zizkov Monument was built between 1929 and 1932. Used as an arsenal by the Nazis and as a mausoleum by the Communists, the monument now houses the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where wreath-laying ceremonies are conducted.
