What To Expect
Choose between our three options: Self-guided Torres del Paine W Trek with our without meals or the Guided Torres del Paine W Trek with meals and let the adventure begin!
A representative will be waiting for you at 14:15 at Puerto Natales Bus Station to take you to the bus from Puerto Natales to Laguna Amarga, which is the main entrance of Torres del Paine National Park.
Marvel at the fantastic scenery during the journey and make sure to get off the bus at the beautiful village of Cerro Castillo. It is located 56 kms away from Torres del Paine National Park entrance and according to its inhabitants, Cerro Castillo is "where the continent ends and the adventure begins." You will see many parties and typical chilean celebrations during high season there.
After paying the entrance fee to Torres del Paine National Park at Laguna Amarga, we will take you to Las Torres area where you will spend your first night.
Check in at the warm Refugio Torre Central. A delicious dinner will be served at the restaurant of the Refugio (if meals option selected). Then relax in one of the hammocks in front of the fireplace of the of the common room.
After breakfast (if meals option selected), enjoy the stunning natural beauty of Torres del Paine National Park as you start hiking to Base Torres.
The 1.5 first hour is steep with fantastic views of lake Nordenskjold and Almirante Nieto Mount (2.670 mamsl) adjacent to the famous Towers of Paine. Amire its amazing hanging glacier before you reach Refugio El Chileno to recover energies.
Leave your back pack in your room and continue the trail through a beautiful millenary Lenga forest (1 hour) to the base of a moraine. Its 45 minutes ascent definitely worths it. Get stunned by the views from Base Torres del Paine, one of the most impressive lookouts of Torres del Paine National Park. Observe Torre Sur (2,850 mamsl), Torre Central (2.800 mamsl), Torre Norte (2.600 mamsl) and Mount Nido de Condor, the typical post card of Torres del Paine.
Go back to Refugio El Chileno and enjoy its great backpackers atmosphere and beautiful scenery.
Dinner will be served at the restaurant of the Refugio (if meals options selected).
Enjoy your breakfast (if meals option selected) at Refugio El Chileno before leaving for the 11Km hike of the day!
Follow the sign to take the shortcut that leads to Refugio Los Cuernos that you will notice 30 minutes after leaving the Refugio. The shortcut trail goes through the Base of Mount Almirante Nieto, which is part of the Paine Massif. Admire the turquoise waters of Nordenskjold lake and the incredible landscapes that surround you. If you do the Torres del Paine W Trek in December, look at the beautiful redish colour of the flora.
Your hike ends at Base Los Cuernos. Share your adventures with fellow hikers while relaxing in the wooden veranda of Refugio Los Cuernos. The Refugio is considered by many as one of the most charming sites in the whole Torres del Paine National Park and a perfect spot to rest and recover energies for the next day challenging trek.
Icing on the cake, a hot tub to relax those tired muscles is available at Cabins los Cuernos just next to Refugio Los Cuernos!
Enjoy a tasty dinner (if meals options selected) before getting some sleep.
You will be served a warm breakfast (if meals options selected) to set you up for the day's hike.
Bask in the views of Nordenskjold Lake as you ascend and descend towards Campamento Italiano. Here you will be able to leave your back pack with the National Forestry Corporation staff. Next stop is at one of the highliths of the Torres del Paine W Trek, the French Glacier lookout. Admire its hanging glacier and
even see small avalanches. The trail continues to Campamento Britanico and to Mirador Britanico, the lookout point considered by many as one of the most overwhelming spots in the Circuit. Marvel at Paine Grande, Cerro Hoja, Cerro Mascara, Cerro Catedral, Cerro Aleta de Tiburon, Cuerno Norte and much more!
Return to Campamento Italiano and then to Pehoe sector where the Refugio Paine Grande is located.
Gaze at the wonderful views of Lake Pehoe and Paine Grande as you eat dinner (if meals options selected) and relax.
After breakfast start hiking to the stunning Grey Glacier lookout. The trail goes through the western side of the Paine Massif with views to theincredible Grey Lake, its stunning blue icebergs and the surrounding mountains.
After 1.5 hour you will reach the first lookout point. Admire the fascinating Grey Glacier in the distance and keep walking 2 more hours to the main lookout, just in front of this imposing glacier. Views are absolutely stunning!
Then go back to Pehoe Lake and board the catamaran that crosses Pehoe Lake to Pudeto sector at 18:00. Here a bus will be waiting for you to take you back to Puerto Natales. You will arrive at Puerto Natales bus station at around 22:00.

Day 2 to Day 5: Breakfast at the Refugios (if meals option selected) with scrambled eggs, toast, ham or cheese, cereals, milk (or milk powder), coffee, tea, juice...
Day 2 to Day 5: Box lunch (if meals option selected) with cereal bar, chocolate bar, sandwich, trailmix, fruit...
Shared accommodation at Refugio Torre Central (Day 1), Refugio El Chileno or Torre Central (Day 2), Refugio Los Cuernos (Day 3) and Refugio Paine Grande (Day 4)
Day 2: Self-guided or guided 13km hike (according to option selected)

Medical insurance of any kind
The entrance fee to Torres del Paine National Park is 18.000 Chilean Pesos per adult (USD 28 approximately) and 500 Chilean Pesos per child (USD 0.80 approximately). Only cash and chilean pesos will be accepted at the entrance of the Park.
We recommend you to bring a 40 litres Backpack, a 20-25 litres Backpack for day hikes, waterproof jacket and trousers (GORE TEX), warm clothes (Polar Tec), comfortable trousers for trekking, T-shirts, long sleeved shirts, trekking boots, sandals (for showering, resting and crossing streams), flash lamp, enough batteries supplies (as batteries cannot be charged at the Refugios where they produce their own sustainable energy), earplugs, sunglasses, towel, padlock, gloves, sunscreen, camera, binoculars, bottle for water (Nalgene), ziploc bags (for taking your trash back), trekking sticks, swimsuit (for the Hot Tub at Los Cuernos), warm hat, hat for sun protection.
Accommodation at the Refugios is in shared dormitories (2 to 8 bunk beds per room). It is not possible to book private rooms. Bathrooms at the Refugios are also shared.
We recommend you to start hiking at 09:00 on Day 2, 09:00 on Day 3, 08:00 on Day 4, 09:00 on Day 5.
On day 5, you will have to be at the pier of Pehoe Lake at 18:00. The cataman leaves puntually at 18:30.

You must exchange your voucher at our Puerto Natales office the day before the tour or before 13:00 on Day 1. Detailed information will be provided on your booking confirmation.
