What To Expect
Go on a tour of the ancient city of Frutillar where German immigrants once colonized. The contributions of the German immigrants have largely influenced the once dangerous territory by turning it into a peaceful community where cattle farms and nice homes were built in.
Depart to Frutillar by following the shores of the Llanquihue Lake and passing by the Llanquihue Village. This quaint village is made popular by its cured meat and sausage production. Its river, the Maullin River, is connected to the lake.
Once you've reached the city of Frutillar, see astounding views of the Osorno Volcano and the impressive German houses around the city. The city was built as a shipping port for the settlers who once lived beside the Llanquihue Lake.
Get up close and personal to a tribute to the German Settlers and go oaan a visit to the German Colonization Museum where you can learn more about the lives led by the German settlers in the past.
