What To Expect
We will pick you up from your hotel and we will start by the animated commercial centre, where you can find the most exclusive brands. We will also visit the Handicrafts local Market located in Artigas Square, that has more that 200 stands and where you can find souvenirs, wool clothes, leather handicrafts, and even jewelry with precious stones. Then, we will see the stylish yachts marina and we will visit the Candelaria church, small and intimate, with a modern but very charming architecture. By the same road we will arrive to old picturesque Punta del Este lighthouse and its main square.
Then, we will discover the exclusive residential areas, with their beautiful gardens, before arriving to Maldonado, the main urban and political centre of which Punta del Este is part of. Following La Barra road, we will visit Parque Indigena, a very green ecological reserve, a perfect place to connect with naturewhich has an important diversity of local flora. We will see as well El Jaguel park, perfect for children and for nature amateurs.
Finally, we arrive to Punta Ballena, where we can admire the outstanding Casapueblo building and museum, a master piece of Uruguayan Art Nouveau, designed and built by Carlos Paez Vilaro. Admire its incredible shapes and the contrast between its white walls, the green landscape and the blue of the sea. At the end of the afternoon, we will take you back to your hotel.
