ITINERARY STARTING ON MONDAY

Day 01 - Monday: Transfer Airport / Hotel

Day 02 - Tuesday: Breakfast. Excursion to Otavalo Market

Depart from Quito through the Pan-American North Highway via Cayambre. Brief stop at Guachalá (old equatorial monument). Passengers will have the opportunity to taste the delicious "Bizcochos de Cayambe", a type of cracker or bread baked in a clay oven (greatly paired with local cheese or caramel sauce). Afterwards, we will make a brief stop at "Miralago", to admire a wonderful view of Lago San Pablo, amazing views.

The tour then continues to Otavalo where Otavaleños (natives) set up a market in which a bartering manner of shopping is taken place. The market hosts a variety of different handcrafted items. Passengers may choose between staying longer in Otavalo or go to visit to the leather shops at Cotacachi. Return to Quito picking up passengers in Otavalo (spot determined by guide), via the Cajas-Tabacundo road.

*Bus will wait for 10 minutes in Otavalo to pick up passangers that stayed there, after that will return to Quito with passengers that are on board.

Day 03 - Wednesday: Breakfast. Quito City Explorer & Equatorial Monument

Touristic route along the most important areas of the city, shopping centers and Zona Rosa "La Mariscal" (bars and restaurants), where most of the hotels in Quito are located. Continue towards the historic center to visit its churches and major landmarks, explore each of its corners at your own pace from the door of your hotel , enjoying deeply those topics that are of interest : music, architecture, living cultures, gastronomy, handicrafts, photography , shopping, watching tourist attractions and unique landscapes, but above all, feel the local vibe and flavor of our unique city. Extension included continues towards the northern part of the city heading up to the '"Middle of the World City" (entrance is included) where the monument that divides the Northern from the Southern Hemisphere will be observed. It was built during the XVII century when a French Expedition defined the precise location of the equatorial line. At the end, optional visit either to Intiñan or Ethnographic Museum (entrance is not included).

We start with a panoramic route among the banking and financial areas, shopping malls and La Mariscal neighborhood, where most of hotels are located. We continue towards the Historic Center of the City to visit its churches and major landmarks, explore each of its corners at your own pace from the door of your hotel, enjoying deeply those topics that are of interest: music, architecture, living cultures, gastronomy, handicrafts, photography, shopping, watching tourist attractions and unique landscapes, but above all, feel the local vibe and flavor of our unique city.

Continue to the northern part of the city heading up to the "Middle of the World City" (entrance included) where the monument that divides the Northern from the Southern Hemisphere will be visited. It was built during the XVII century when a French Expedition defined the precise location of the equatorial line. The "Intiñan Museum", known as the Equinox solar Museum, can also be visited (entrance is not included)

Day 03 - Saturday: Breakfast. Excursion to Otavalo Market

Brief stop at Guachala (used to be the Half of the world monument), before we head up to Otavalo we will make a stop at Mira Lago to take pictures of the beautiful San Pablo Lake. The tour then continues to Otavalo where the Otavaleños (natives) set up a market in which a bartering manner of shopping is taken. The market hosts a variety of different handcrafted items. Visit the leather shopping stores at Cotacachi before returning to Quito through the Cajas-Tabacundo road.
