What To Expect

The Icelandic horse is a breed that has remained virtually unchanged since the Vikings brought it to Iceland in the 9th century AD. Enjoy a riding tour on the outskirts of the capital. After the riding experience, enjoy a lunch break before boarding the bus for you afternoon tour of the Golden Circle.
We head to the National Park, Pingvellir, with its unique geological features. At Pingvellir, the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was founded in 930 AD, which makes it the oldest known functioning parliament in the world. We visit the impressive waterfall Gullfoss (English: Golden Waterfall) and the geothermal area around Geysir with its spouting geysers. Then we head back to the capital.
