What To Expect
Enjoy a tour of the Vatican Museums together with a knowledgeable English-speaking tour guide who will teach you everything you need to know from the lives of the Ancient Romans to the stories behind the artists of the world-renowned artworks you may find during the tour. See the artworks that people have flown miles just to see. Roam around endless corridors that seem endlessly decorated with artwork, sculptures and frescoes.
Then, visit the Gallery of Maps to see how much our understanding of the world has evolved. Explore around the Gallery of the Tapestries and admire the highly-detailed handmade masterpieces that it houses.
Next, marvel at the beautiful frescoes of the popular Renaissance artist, Raphael at the Raphael Rooms. See some of his prized works including the "School of Athens".
Come to the Sistine Chapel where your jaw may drop at the sight of Michelangelo's incredible frescoes found at the chapel's ceiling and walls. See Michelangelo's self-portrait as well as the portraits of his enemies that he had incorporated alongside his frescoes.
For the complete experience, you can start off the tour with a delectable buffet dinner at the Pinecone Courtyard (if the option is selected) where you can feast on a wide array of local food selections and drinks.
