Snowmobile Safari to Reindeer Farm
The day starts with a snowmobile safari to a reindeer farm where you will hear more about reindeer husbandry and Lappish culture.
At the reindeer farm, you can take a reindeer ride and attend a special Lapp ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle.
Santa Claus Village
In the afternoon, the tour continues by car to the Santa Claus Village for a meeting with Mr. Claus himself. Explore the village at your leisure and have a chance to do some shopping before returning to the city.

Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old with a driver's license valid in Finland.
Guests who are pregnant are not permitted to participate in this activity.
This activity is not wheelchair accessible.
Children 2 years old and above can participate in this activity.
Guests with a limited range of movement are not permitted to participate in this activity.
Please note that all drivers must bring a full driving license which is valid in Finland.
Travel insurance is recommended.
Children will ride on the sled pulled by the snowmobile. Children over 140 cm may ride on the snowmobile if they pay an adult price.

Can anyone drive a snowmobile?
The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a valid international driver’s licence.
Pregnant women should not use snowmobiles or sledges pulled by snowmobiles as the vibrations and exhaust fumes may be harmful. The child price entitles children to a seat in a sled pulled by a snowmobile driven by the guide. Children over 140 cm in height are allowed to sit on the snowmobile when paying the adult price.
Is the experience covered by insurance?
Absolutely! Snowmobiles used in safaris are insured as required by Finnish law and the coverage is subject to Motor Liability Insurance and covers the cost of treatment of injury of the driver and passengers.Safari participants are held liable for damages caused to snowmobiles. The amount of personal liability is max. EUR 980 per snowmobile in case of an accident. This can be reduced by paying a Self liability waiver supplement per person for those driving a snowmobile (Paperwork is filled out before the safari).
Do I have to share my snowmobile?
If you are travelling alone or your group is an odd number, the solo driving supplement is a good way to make sure you don't to need to share the snowmobile with anyone. Unless you'd like to! Its a great way to make friends.
