What To Expect
You will head to the beautiful city of Suchitoto ("Place of Birds and Flowers" in Nahuatl). It was an important city that produced indigo. The city of Suchitoto offers the essence of the old colonial architecture. Walk down its beautiful cobbled paths, explore its art galleries, the Ruins' Theater, the House of Crafts and the Santa Lucia Church, which was built in 1853 and is one of the main attractions of the city.
You will then be taken to the Lake Suchitlán, a 135 square kilometer artificial lake with the largest area of water in the country. You will go on a boat ride, visiting the Island of the Birds and kayaking through the fauna and flora of the area. You will then be transferred back to San Salvador.
