Highlights
  • Ride a bike across San Sebastian's historic neighborhoods!
  • Learn about each place you discover from a knowledgeable local guide
  • Admire the city's local beaches and popular landmarks

Description

Start off the tour with a bicycle ride from one of the most popular venues in San Sebastian, Ayuntamiento, the town hall. Chat a little with the locals and learn facts about the city such as how San Sebastian is connected to Japan and why there are so many small trees around the area.

Then, follow the Bidegorri Bike Path along La Concha Beach until you reach the Queen Maria Cristina Palace. In a few moments, you will reach another local beach of the city, the Ondarreta Beach.

Once you have arrived at the end of the bay, get ready to see multiple pieces of Basque modern art before reaching the city's most ancient neighborhoods. You will be able to pass through a "secret passage" that connects two different parts of the city. Pass by districts that show elaborate faces of the city from the workers side to the belle époque of its past. Follow the length of the Urumea River and pass by several palaces and villas until you arrive at the city center. See one of the most important buildings of San Sebastian, the Kursaal.

Continue on to the Gros district where you can admire the surfers along the Zurriola Beach. Head towards the Port Area where the city's past and present clash. This area is also known for its pintxo (small snacks) bars.

Ride back to Monte Urgull Battlefield and along the old city walls. This tour will end at the contemporary boulevard which divides the city from the ancient and the modern.
