What To Expect
Visit Loro Parque, Europe's finest park in terms of living conditions for the numerous mammals, animals and fish that are on display there. Also, get to see Europe's largest dolphin show pool, the world's largest indoor penguin exhibition, and the longest shark tunnel in Europe.
See the Loro Park Aquarium, which consists of 12 themed exhibits in a total of 1,200,000 liters of seawater. The water inside this marine aquarium is obtained directly from the Atlantic Ocean off the coast just 150 meters from Loro Parque.
Visit Pingiunarium and have a glimpse of an extraordinary replica of the Antarctic habitat, which provides adequate temperatures and luminosity for four species of penguin.
Drop by Katandra Treetops and experience a symphony of sounds from the beautiful birds of Australia and Asia. Katandra Treetops has hundreds of colorful birds of different species, making it one of the most impressive free-flight aviaries in the world.
The kids in the family will surely enjoy Kinderlandia. This attraction contains small and large bridges and tress that can be crossed and climbed. This also contains Canary Island's first and only roller-coaster, the "Orca Tren," which is perfect for young and old alike.
Other attractions include Thai Village, where you can see a bust of Prince Mahidol of Siam; Naturavisions, a cinema located under a glass dome built solely for the projection of the movie Rio; Orquidario, which contains some 25,000 species of orchids and 60,000 hybrids; Macaws' Aviary, containing different species of macaws, amazons and conures; and the Porcelain Parrot Museum, which showcases parrot figures made of porcelain.
