Found at the bottom of the San Cristóbal Hill, La Chascona was the house built by acclaimed poet and Nobel Peace Prize for Literature awardee Pablo Neruda for his wife Matilda. Housing a magnificent collection of books, paintings, and other possessions of the literary giant, it serves today as the headquarters of the Pablo Neruda Foundation.
