Begin the tour at the formation of the Three Eyes Park, an underground cave with three natural lakes. Considered as a rare natural phenomenon, marvel at the magnificent natural feature with crystal clear waters, wide array of animals, such as bats and fishes, and large ferns measuring up to 4 meters in height.
Continue to Columbus Lighthouse, a significant historic place in Santo Domingo, and admire the monument forming a cross shape to represent the Christianization of America. Dedicated to Christopher Columbus, the monument allegedly contains the remains of Columbus.
Then, head to the remarkable National Aquarium of Santo Domingo and be mesmerized with its display of more than 250 different marine species without having to artificially control the environment. With 90 tanks and 7 ponds, see the fascinating displays and look out for the pool of sharks and the underwater tunnel allowing you to see species such as sharks, tarpon and turtles inside a transparent passageway.
