One such example is the program titled "MISO" which is a narrative set that tells the story of how a young man and woman in the old days leads to an ardent love. A love triangle takes shape between the assertive young woman who remained steadfastly devoted to her love, the intellectual aristocrat Mongryong, and the district magistrate Hakdo, a sensitive man who aggressively express his love for Chunhyang.
Dazzling spectacles of traditional Korean culture, including traditional dance, instrumental music, a traditional folk musical act featuring a percussion quartet and a traditional narrative vocal music meld with this beautiful tale of romance mesmerizes the audience.
Chunhyang and Mongryong begin their secret romance with an exchange of eye contact. Meanwhile, Hakdo grows ever more fixated in his longing for the woman whose beauty captivated him. On the evening of the Dano festivities, two lovers frolicker in the water together. Ibang arrives at their home with orders from Hakdo to bring Chunhyang to him. He sees the lovers and races off to find the magistrate. Burning with jealousy, Hakdo plots to forge a command from the king. The two young lover's beautiful first night passes. The young man is forced to say a painful goodbye to Chunhyang. Left alone, she whiles away the day awaiting his return. Chunhyang was brought to Hakdo's birthday party, where he confesses his love to her. She spurns him, and he has her put in the jail. Hakdo makes one last desperate plea for Chunhyang, but she rebuffs him harshly, knowing full well that she risks her life by doing so. Beyond the grip of reason now, Hakdo orders her executed. Just then, Mongryong appears with commanding officers, announcing the arrival of the secret royal inspector. Hakdo is punished for his deeds, and Chunhyang enjoys a loving reunion with Mongryong. The two lovers exchange their marriage vows, while the villagers rejoice at the consummation of their precious love, sharing smiles of joy amid a bountiful banquet.
