What To Expect
Luxor by air is fast becoming as popular as Cairo. One of the main reasons for its popularity is that many tourists do not frequent Luxor as much as Cairo so you can guarantee the trip is more relaxed without the hustle and bustle that takes place especially when visiting Cairo and the airport is certainly not as hectic. Apart from that the many places of interest on the agenda certainly make this a day to remember. We only offer this by air and the flight time is approx 50 minutes, with a return to the hotel by about 9 30pm, hopefully just in time to catch last orders for dinner. The itinerary consists of a trip to the West Bank, which is the city of the dead, steeped in ancient Egyptian mythology. Exploration of the Valley of the Kings, the spectacular Karnak Temple, the gigantic Colossus of Memnon. The most famous and finest temple is that of Hatshepsut. So many highlights, and with guides that escort you every step of the way that have all the answers to your questions, it's one of the trips that we cannot recommend highly enough.
