What To Expect
Everybody knows Angkor Wat and Siem Reap, everybody wants to be there taking great pictures. The tour starts early in the morning giving us the great chance of capture the famous sunrise.
We will tell you everything you need to know about the place and everything you need to know about your camera in order to take the best pictures possible. Learn how to handle the manual settings of your camera and become familiar with the technical terms such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO. In addition, you will learn about metering modes, auto-focus modes, white balance and, more importantly, how to apply this knowledge.
Sunrise (Approximately 3 hours)
Pick up from your hotel at around 04:45, travel to the temples by TukTuk, and take long exposure pictures of the sunrise at the temples of Angkor Wat.
After sunrise, have breakfast in a local restaurant and get a basic introduction into manual camera settings.
Temple Tour (Approximately 8 hours)
Starting at Ta Prohm, spend time photographing the Angkor trees. After Ta Prohm we head to Banteay Kdei, Sra Srang, Pre Rup, and Elephants Terrace. On our way we will stop at rice fields to photography the Cambodian countryside.
In addition to standard camera settings we will also experiment with filters such as ND filter, polarization filters and gradient filters.
Drop off at your hotel will be at around 17:00.
