What To Expect
Visit the City of Four Names, each name representing a specific period in history. We will start our tour with a visit to the Convent of La Recoleta Museum, one of Sucre's many churches and convents. See the admirable facades of the churches of San Lazaro and Santo Domingo. We will also pass by the University's Museum, the Textile Asur Museum, Jalk'a and Tarabuco exhibitions, the Cemetery and many of its main historical monuments.
We will have lunch in a restaurant before continuing to the House of Freedom Historical Museum, the most important building of the nation. We will then move on to the Metropolitan Cathedral, the first and most important religious museum of the country with countless works by Colonial and Republican masters. The Metropolitan Cathedral and the Historical Courtyard of the San Francisco Xavier University will be our next stop. We will also get a look at the exterior of Santa Monica's Church, San Francisco's Church and the Convent of San Felipe de Nery.
