Sydney Harbour is arguably the most beautiful of the waterways that make up Sydney's Port Jackson, boasting attractions like the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Many special events are held on or around the harbour itself, particularly the annual Vivid Sydney festival and the city's grand New Year's Eve celebrations.
To visit the city without taking a Sydney Harbour cruise is to miss out on on one of the world's great travel experiences. Sail on a tall ship, ferry or yacht; have brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks; chill with friends during sunset, catch a pirate show with the family or celebrate with some champagne with a loved one.
Vivid Sydney is an annual festival of light, music and ideas held during winter (May - June). Top landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge serve as canvas for various light installations and interactive multimedia that transform central Sydney into a unique out-door gallery of "light art."
Vivid Sydney 2016 was held on 27 May to 18 June. Check back later for 2017 Vivid Sydney info and activities!
Take in the gorgeous bay views and city skyline from the boats that regularly cruise the waters of Sydney Harbour.
Choose a tall ship cruise for the unique experience of sailing on an authentic early 1900s "pirate ship." Help hoist the large sails, spend the night aboard or enjoy activities like laser-clay shooting or mast climbing.
Captain Cook and Magistic Cruises offer a variety of cruising option aboard catamarans and luxury vessels with decks that provide the best view points to capture the magnificence of Sydney Harbour’s top sights
Venture out on a sea kayak and discover the best picnic spot with great views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. During migration season, you can pick a cruise out to The Heads for some whale watching.
Turn your Sydney Harbour Cruise into a foodie experience as you combine the great views with relaxing music, good company and even more spectacular cuisine. Feast on Aussie BBQ, indulge in a buffet of the most sumptuous seafood, or sample delicate canapés paired with the best Australian wines.

This was a really fun excursion to end our holiday and the stories told on the tour were fascinating.. the tour providers made it very fun. It was great to visit Goat Island and have views on the city from another direction, plus it feels very secluded so quite special when you are there having your lunch.
