    Travel to the mountainous county of Hualien by train.

  • East Coast National Scenic Area

    Upon reaching Hualien, head to the East Coast National Scenic Area, a stretch of land 170km down the east coast of the island that consists of volcanic rock, classic rock and shale. Coastal terraces, sand and pebble beaches, trenches and caves can all be found within the area.

    Experience the traditional Amis culture and the indigenous lifestyle of the people of Taiwan. View unique crafts and specialty products on display.
