    Visit the Buddhist Center of Southern Taiwan, located at the Dashu Township in Kaohsiung county. It is a popular tourist destination known for its fascinating temples. A 120 meter golden Buddha statue can be found at southeastern side of the Fo Guag Mountain Monastery.

    Explore a former abandoned warehouse which was turned by passionate artists into a local artistic hub. Pier-2 is now is as vibrant as ever with different forms of art from old to new styles adorn this once forgotten area.

    After breakfast, visit Eluanbi Park, also known as Taiwan's Tail. Located at Taiwan's southernmost point, the lighthouse has become one of the best attractions within the area. Standing 21.4 meters high, it is considered as the brightest of its kind in Asia.

  • Maobitou

    Marvel at the natural wonders at Maobitou, the name is derived from a rock falling on the side of the sea cliff which resembles a crouching cat. The beautiful landscape of the area was created due to years of natural sea erosion which resulted into reef columns, sea trenches, caves and pot holes.

  • Longpan Park

    A stretch of grassland along the Jia-Oh highway that is known for its limestone terrain. It also has some underground limestone caves and a distinct red soil.

  • Hengchun Town

    This gateway to Kenting National Park is known for its clear beaches that is popular among tourists. The city was once surrounded by a wall, however, about half of that wall is intact today.

    The only Fujianese style shrine in Taiwan, built to honor Cheng Cheng Kung, one of the pioneers of the country. The shrine features some memorabilia from the old times such as street signs, bedding garments, land deeds and paper bills to give visitors a glimpse of the past.

  • Anping Fort and Tree House

    During its establishment in 1624 by the Dutch, it was known as Fort Zeelandia, an important administrative center of the Dutch regime. You will also visit the Anping tree House, used as the warehouse for the British trading company Tait &Co.
