Explore the spectacular night scene in Taipei's night market and have a scrumptious dinner at the famous Din Tai Fung Restaurant.
Get to know Taipei after the sun has set on an exciting evening walk around the vibrant metropolis.
Start your tour at Longshan Temple, one of the most well-known temples in Taiwan. Take in the spectacular night scene at the temple as the worshippers gather and practice ancient Buddhist rituals. Since its construction in 1738, the temple has been improved and now serves as a worship house for a mixture of Buddhist, Taoist, and deities like Mazu devotees.
Conveniently located next to the temple is the famous Huaxi Street Night Market. Try the famous snake soup, a unique treat found only in the market. Stroll around to visit shops selling traditional goods, seafood restaurants and stalls, quaint boutiques and traditional Chinese massage parlors.
After the market visit, tantalize your taste buds with delicious soup dumplings (xiaolongbao), beef noodle soup and other authentic Taiwanese food at Din Tai Fung, which was ranked one of the world's Top Ten Best Restaurants by The New York Times.
Before the tour ends, stop at one of the world's tallest buildings, Taipei 101. Towering above the city, this outstanding landmark was designed to resemble a bamboo stalk. You may also visit the observatory (at own expense) and experience to be whisked upward by high-speed pressure-controlled elevators. From the observatory, enjoy unobstructed view of the city in all directions. One of the decks also houses a museum where you will learn about the design process and construction of the building.
Your tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel.
