What To Expect
Day 1 - Taipei / Puli / Sun Moon Lake
After pick-up from hotel, we travel by bus to Nantou to visit Puli, a cultural and artistic heaven at the heart of Taiwan. With an elevation between 380-700 meters, Puli is a basin surrounded by rising and falling mountains, hills and farmland.
Next, we will visit the Sun Moon Lake, the only natural big lake in Taiwan, with an elevation of 748 meters above sea level. The southern part of Lalu Island is shaped like a new moon, and the northern part is shaped like a sun; hence the name Sun Moon Lake.
We will also visit the most famous sights around Sun Moon Lake such as the Xuanzang Temple, the Ci-en Pagoda, Ita Thao Indigenous Village and the Wenwu Temple.

Day 2 - Sun Moon Lake / Alishan / Chiayi City
From Sun Moon Lake, we will head to Alishan, very famous for the sunrise view and the cloud ocean. Here we will get to tour its stunning forest, visit Sisters Ponds, Shou-Chen Temple, and the fallen giant Sacred Tree.
Then we will ride the bus for Chiayi City where we will spend the night.

Day 3 - Chiayi City / Southern Branch of National Palace Museum / Taipei
From Chiayi City, visit the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum. An "international museum that exhibits arts and cultures of Asia", the southern branch of the Palace Museum showcases classic national heirlooms along with the time, space and culture that they represent.
To end the tour, we will make our way back to Taipei via bus or train.
