On display and in storage are art, artifacts, and historical documents from Japan, China, and Korea. Many items date from the 6th to 11th centuries, with some of the treasures on loan from the Horyuji temple. Expect to see a multitude of lovely ceramics, temple sculpture, prints, lacquer ware, paintings, screens, scrolls, wood block prints, and netsuke.
