Kudos to our tour guide for being very accommodating. This tour has the perfect locations- it was unfortunate that the weather was... a bit on the gloomy side when we got there. But it was still a nice experience since we were able to have a close & snowy encounter with Mt. Fuji at 5th station. I would suggest going for the "w/ meals option" since you only have limited time as it's a guided tour; like 15mins for lunch and would be cumbersome to be looking for restaurants nearby for that limited time. Not to mention prices don't come cheap on those areas with a least minimum of 700 yen for a bowl of noodles. more

This was my first time going to Mt.fuji, we departed from Shinjuku, the meeting place was easy to find (even for someone who doesn...'t know Japanese). We arrived at the fifth station at around 11:30, the bus was comfortable so I was basically sleeping all the way to Mt. fuji. The weather was really nice, so I could clearly see Mt.fuji, lucky haha! We had an English speaking guide on that day, she is very kind and can speak good English. I am planning to go Mt. fuji again sometime during the autumn, and will definitely join this tour again!! more

This tour will offer you loads of opportunities to see Mt. Fuji, and in a clear weather you should be able to enjoy magnificent vi...ews. On the day I went the weather was not perfect but still managed to catch a few glimpses of the mountain.

According to our guide we were very lucky to be able to go to the 5th Station, as in winter the road is often closed due to the snow fall. At the 5th station you can admire the panoramic view of the 'Japanese Alps' and of course the top of Fuji itself. There is also a big souvenir shop where you can get some nice gifts or a snack (try Fuji-shaped melon pan!).

After that we were transferred to the restaurant for lunch - it was a Japanese style meal and really delicious! People who didn't book lunch had some free time to eat their own lunch or buy something at the spot (there was a small bakery).

Our next stop was Hakone and a picturesque Ashi lake cruise to the reopeway station. I imagine that on a clear day the view from the ropeway would be amazing, but during our trip we were welcomed by a little snow storm, so we couldn't see much. Mt. Komagatake however was really great, really enjoyed a short hike to the shrine at the top.

The guide was super nice, kept us entertained on the us and provided some interesting information as well.

Overall it was a very nice tour and well organised tour and despite of the fact that the weather was not perfect, it was a nice day out of Tokyo.

This day tour to Mt. Fuji and Hakone was quite an adventure as it
allowed us to see a different side of Japan. We were sa...

didn't get to see Mt. Fuji due to poor weather conditions. However, the

along props to show us. We would recommend this tour to all our friends

The whole experience was wonderful, we were staying at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel so it was easy as the main lobby was the pick up... point for us, after the pick up we were taken in the coach to the main station where the bUs took us to the ride, although being a weekend the drive was slow due to traffic, we enjoyed with the guide Ann, who spoke excellent English, had a great sense of humour and kept the whole list interesting with insights about the places we would see along the way.
Each and every sight was worth it, a great way to see the place and enjoy the ride back on the bullet train which dropped as back to Shinagawa station straight away.

Highly recommended for any tourist to take this trip with them.

Absolutely loved the tour to Mount Fuji and Hokone sightseeing. It was very well organised and managed. Tour included going up to ...Mount Fuji's 4th viewing station (5th closed due to snow), cruise on Lake Ashi followed by spectacular views atop Mount Komagatake. The weather was very bad as the rain kept falling for the whole day so it was unfortunate that we could not go up on the ropeway t...o see mount fuji. The lake cruise was also replaced with lake kawagochi cruise but despite the changes, the event went quite well. The tour guide tried her best to keep our spirits high during the journey. The instructions from her was clear and concise, such as where to meet and what time to meet were communicated well enough.

We visited the mount fuji heritage center, went up via kachi kachi ropeway and sat on the cruise to see lake kawagochi. The views were scenic and breathtaking. We even managed to spot mount fuji from a distance which totally made our day.

The lunch was normal japanese style. The portion was just nice and it was acceptable.

In terms of the overall trip, there was no major delays, changes in sightseeing places were communicated and replaced promptly abd everything went on fine!

I just hoped to visit it again when the weather is much better!!

Great tour! Great tour guide and very happy that requested return by train! Saved about three hour of bus ride

Since we only had 5 days to explore Japan, we needed to plan our itinerary well. Thankfully, this tour brought us to many amazing ...places in just one day.

Although mostly cloudy during fall, we were able to sneak a great view of Mt. Fuji at the 5th station. The bus ride was also very smooth, and our tour guide Hiro was very helpful and informative. The tour is also great for elderly since not much walking/trekking is involved.

The only downside is the limited time to do things. We had only 30 minutes to explore Mt. Fuji & less than an hour for lunch.

But considering the locations we were able to visit in a day, I would say it was worth it. We arrived back in Tokyo around past 6 pm giving us enough time to enjoy dinner.f

Tour was well organised but our stop points could have been much longer. The stop at Mt Hakone was very short especially for those... who took the later gondola. By the time we reached the top, we had only barely 10 minutes to explore before the next scheduled gondola, as the bus will be leaving by then. It will also be good to cater halal lunch instead of vegetarian lunch for Muslim tourists. Thanks! more

As previews experience in countries I had visited, tour guides always tell us to come back on time or else you will be left behind.... Time is so short, 20 minutes, that after visiting the toilet, half of it is gone thus enjoying the view is improbable.
The good part was professionalism of our guide, able to impart the basic aspect about the culture and history. The bus driver was good as well, he keep us safe.

It was a great experience. Just disappointed with price of stuff.

What really made this trip great was the guide Motoko. She was fantastic. She talked the entire time during the bus ride and taug...ht us so much. When she was not explaining history or culture she was giving origami lessons! Not only was she friendly and easy to understand but she willingly answered all of our questions. It would've been better if we could have stayed on Mount Fuji for longer. The boat ride was very short and unfortunately when we arrived on top of the second mountain we were under clouds but that is not the tour's fault. more

Hiro-san was very entertaining and educational. he was also very helpful. Our bus driver gave us a very smooth ride. To no fault o...f their own, i felt that the trip was too rushed. we only got to spend 45mins on 5th station, 45mins for lunch, 10mins on the top of hakone cable car. I'd like it more if we left tokyo at 7am rather than 9am so that we can have more time to enjoy the sights. more

A full day, lots of travelling but thats what is required to see all these sites. Lunch is at a roller coaster park with some magn...ificent rides but the opportunity to go on these rides is not available. An option to pay for a FAST PASS to the huge roller coaster would be a plus more

Bus should leave the Bus Terminal in Tokyo one hour earlier to more time at Mt Fuji and Hakone Ropeway.

Not anybody fault, but Mount Fuji was 'hiding' when we had this tour, because its cloudy.
A couple of delay happe...
ned (the longest because a couple of participants opt to buy their own lunch and its took a long time for the rest to prepare). Perhaps there shd be any warning before for participants, so they are prepared (ie. Bring their own lunch). more

Unfortunately the weather was not great, hence we only made it to 1st station.

Managed to catch a glimpse of Mt Fuj...
i from the tour bus when the clouds cleared a little in the afternoon.

Weather was also misty when we were on the Hakone Komagatake Ropeway - hence views were not promising and the cable car was jam packed.

But the tour guide was very good - spoke excellent English and was very helpful catering to > 40 paxes. Ichiban on his service

The tour is good. We have Aikko as our tour guide, and she was very pleasant and informative. The total experience was excellent.... But the time to do things is limited. We had only 45 minutes to explore Mt. Fuji & less than an hour for lunch.
Overall the tour is good, the weather is good, the variety of traditional Japanese lunch is good. I will be going to Mount Fuji again in winter, hope we can spent more time there.

The tour ran late because we were met with traffic en route to the expressway (was asleep for most of that) and we arrived at 5th ...station past 1pm.

We were given 30mins to explore the area. Got a free bell, bought souvenirs and took lots of tourist-y photos! It was fortunately a very clear day (lucky us). Wish we could've spent more time here but we were already off the itinerary so we couldn't stay longer.

We then had lunch at a restaurant beside Lake Kawaguchi. I think we were supposed to go to Hakone for the boat ride, but we had it here instead. Since the lake was just at the foot of Mt Fuji, the boat ride gave us the perfect opportunity to capture more picturesque shots of the mountain. We had the cable car ride here too.

The bus still passed by Hakone but it was already nightfall and everything was closed so there wasn't much to see. We had to make our way back to Tokyo via shikansen (which I really enjoyed because it only took us a third of the time spent traveling by bus!)

I guess shared tours aren't really for me because I can't control the amount of time I get to spend in an area, but it was an overall good experience for a first time visitor to Mt Fuji.

One very long day for us! The travel time from Tokyo to Mt. Fuji is much longer on weekends due to the traffic (so I suggest going... on weekdays?). But since it's our first time to see Mt. Fuji up close, we enjoyed it - I guess, 30 minutes seems a little too short for everything that you may want to do there. We haven't got the chance to do the activities in Hakone *No idea how it is there* but, the alternative activities in Lake Kawaguchi (cruise and ropeway) turned out just fine. The meal is not that good, maybe because we had it late and it was prepared long before we arrived - again, because of the traffic. It's very nice that the tour guide is so kind, she really tried to communicate and do favors for guests as much as she could. Overall it was good. more

The tour provider didn't foresee the traffic (we were on the road for almost 4 hours) which caused a domino-effect. We arrive...d in Mt. Fuji 5th Station at around 13:00. The view of Mt. Fuji made up for the long trip, but another cause of delay was some tourists who didn't return to the bus on time. We had late lunch at around 15:00, so that was not cool. It also resulted to change of schedule -- we weren't able to cruise at Lake Ashi and go on a cable car ride at Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. Instead, went on a cruise and ropeway at Kawaguchiko. After that, we went to Hakone-en Park but it was already dark, so we just had a quick stop (restroom break) then proceeded to the shinkansen station. I was disappointed, but at least we had a very nice tour guide who tried her best to appease us with her jokes and trivia. Shinkansen ride back to Tokyo was a fitting way to end a tiring day. more

Tour guide was terrible ! Frustrating the amount he talked and just made the tour awkward . I know he was just trying to inform us... on Japan but no one was listening and was just embrassing. Also a lot of traveling and waiting around , example meeting in a hotel and waiting for at least half hour to leave then only been on a bus for half hour and arriving at a bus station and then been told to wait around for another half hour to switch bus , the layout of the day just could be laid out better especially with the cost. It was 6 friends which included 2 couples between age 23-27 and just wasn’t enjoyable . more

We were 5 people in this tour.
Here are the good points of tour:
1. The tourguide was very passionate and friendly....

2. Two drivers drove safely
3. The lunch was good

Here are the bad points:

1. The tour guide talked too much, continuously from Tokyo to Fuji mt. All the bus really need the time to rest and time to talk to our friends.

2. No time for seeing the moutain. From tokyo to Fuji mt: there were 3 times the bus stop in a place for toilet. Everytime, about over 15 minutes including lunch time. But the time at the 5th grade of the mt was only 8 minutes. We needed more time there

3. We didnt see even the shape of Fuji mt

We had day just staying in the bus from 7 am to 9pm. It was waste of time and money. This tour was for nothing!
