After guests are picked up from the central Tokyo area, tour will assemble at the Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal before transferring to the Tokyo Station to take the Nozomi shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto. Sit back and enjoy the high-speed ride which, on clear days, gives you the opportunity to view the iconic Mt. Fuji.

Upon arrival in Kyoto, take a break and feast on Western-style lunch at the New Miyako Hotel before enjoying an afternoon tour exploring the Kyoto area visiting some of the best attractions in the city - Heian Shrine, Sanjusangendo and the Kiyomizu Temple (in no particular order).

See the Sanjusangen-do Buddhist temple, characterized by its main hall which houses thousands of life-size Buddhist Kannon statues from the 13th century and is considered to be Japan's longest wooden structure. Visit the Heian Jingu Shinto shrine, built to partially replicate the Heian era Imperial Palace. Go up to the Otowa-san Kiyomizu-dera, a Buddhist temple in eastern Kyoto which is listed as part of the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto (Kyoto, Uji and Otsu Cities)" UNESCO World Heritage site and offers magnificent views of the surrounding area.

At the end of the day, head back to the Kyoto Station and board the Nozomi shinkansen for the trip back to Tokyo. Tour ends upon arrival at the Tokyo station where guests will be assisted in finding a ride back to hotels.
