What To Expect
Take a day trip to Kamakura, a seaside Japanese city just south of Tokyo. The political center of medieval Japan, modern-day Kamakura is a prominent resort town with a number of Buddhist Zen temples and Shinto shrines.
Upon arrival from, visit the Kotoku-in Temple and Great Buddha, a statue towering at approximately 13 meters or 44 feet. Unlike the Great Buddha of Nara, this Buddha is placed directly outdoors and the inside of the statue can be accessed for an additional fee (own expense).
After a delicious Japanese-style lunch* at a hotel, proceed to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and Komachi-dori**, one of the famous sightseeing spots of Kamakura, which is incidentally known as Kamakura Shrine. The god enshrined here is the protector of the warrior class.
The ancient and renowned temple of the Rinzai sect's Kencho-ji school, the Hokoku-ji Temple will be your next stop before you head for a matcha green tea experience at Jomyo-ji Temple.
On the way back to Tokyo, drive by the symbolic Yokohama Bay Bridge.

Earphone guidance may not be used if the number of participants is less than 15. If you damage or lose an earphone guidance device, you will be charged for compensation.
Locations indicated on the itinerary may be changed due to traffic, operation hours, or other reasons. However, the tour will not be cancelled or refunded even in such cases. The following are possible substitutes: Hase Temple, Engaku-ji Temple, Kencho-ji Temple, Kamakuragu Treasure Hall, Sankeien Garden, Yokohama Marine Tower, Yamashita Park, or the Yokohama Landmark Tower Sky Garden available for lunch.
