Discover the spectacular scene along the road to Frigiliana bordering the sea and white villages. Visit Nerja Village and its prehistoric caves.
Depart from Fuengirola to Frigiliana, a beautiful and typical village in the province of Malaga that retains the full essence of Andalusia.
Upon arrival at Frigiliana visit an ancient fortress, which served as a refuge for the last Moors, and has now been converted into molasses factory.
Enjoy some free time for shopping and discover the traditional products of the region such as pottery, fruits and vegetables and the famous sweet wine.
You will then head off to Nerja, a small fishing village that has become one of the most popular destinations in Malaga. Walk through its quaint streets and cobbled pathways mixed with boutiques and restaurants with a backdrop of the beautiful Sierra Almijara mountains. Go the Balcon de Europa and enjoy the breathtaking views over the Mediterranean sea and its beaches.
Then visit the Nerja Caves or keep exploring Nerja at your own pace.
Nerja Caves are definitely a must-see. You will be captivated by the large caverns and untouched stalagmites and stalactites as you learn about their history and geology.
Meet back your guide before going back to Fuengirola.

This was a good day, even rainy for us. A relaxing day with lots of time for personal walking in Nerja and of course the breathtaking caves. Please do yourself the favor and visit these caves. Not only a good experience, but if not, you might have a bit too long time to spend in the Nerja city centre. In summer/sunny days this can be very OK, else might it be a bit boring.

Good trip and knowledgeable guide, except for his recommendation of the restaurant at the caves (worst place I've ever eaten ...in Spain). Beautiful little towns. more
