What To Expect
Depart from Torremolinos to Frigiliana, a beautiful and typical village in the province of Malaga that retains the full essence of Andalusia.
Upon arrival at Frigiliana visit an ancient fortress ruins , which served as a refuge for the last Moors. Also, you will be able to see the sugar molasses factory, unique in Europe and located in this village.
Enjoy some free time for shopping and discover the traditional products of the region such as pottery, fruits and vegetables and the famous sweet wine.
You will then head off to Nerja, a small fishing village that has become one of the most popular destinations in Malaga. Walk through its quaint streets and cobbled pathways mixed with boutiques and restaurants with a backdrop of the beautiful Sierra Almijara mountains. Go the Balcon de Europa and enjoy the breathtaking views over the Mediterranean sea and its beaches.
Then visit the Nerja Caves or keep exploring Nerja at your own pace.
Nerja Caves are definitely a must-see. You will be captivated by the large caverns and untouched stalagmites and stalactites as you learn about their history and geology.
