What To Expect
Get ready for a unique experience onboard a Ford A Phaeton antique car from 1929!
Your personnal driver/guide will pick you up from you hotel in San Miguel de Tucumán and head to the North of Tucumán through lemon plantations up to the Cadillal dike.
The Cadillal, also known as the Celestino Gelsi dike is a peaceful place with a dreamed landscape: it's surrounded by the Medici hill and the unique Medina mountains.
There, we will have an overview of the famous dam and its amphitheater, its hydroelectric plant and the Loro river.
We'll head west in our exclusive car through the dense and wild jungle, to admire the imposing Saladillo viaduct, a delicate work of art from the XIXth century (length of 330m, height of 25m) made entirely of bricks.
We'll pass by Raco, a village appreciated by Argentinians in summer and during weekends. We will follow the road until the Cristo Rey convent, a benedictine monastery famous for its home-made sweets, pure honey and different honey-based products.
Then we'll go back to San Miguel de Tucumán for a sightseeing tour of the city. Discover its Casino, the San Martin theater, the regional seat of government and the main city square: Plaza Independencia.
Your personalized El Cadillal Lake and Mountains Private Tour also includes tea time served in the Argentinian tradition, a perfect opportunity to taste some delicious regional products.
End this exclusive experience with a glass of champagne.
