A major tourist attraction, Stanley Park lets everyone breathe and embrace nature. It’s an evergreen oasis beside a bustling metropolis. It boasts of a Children's Farmyard, Miniature Railway, tennis courts, beaches, children's water park, heated ocean-side swimming pool, the Theatre Under the Stars, the Vancouver Aquarium, and the 10.5-km perimeter Seawall. By the sea, you can jog, stroll, and rollerblade. The forest itself consists of majestic cedar, hemlock, and fir trees. Naturalists will have a heyday here. Wildlife is plentiful in the forest as well as in the Lost Lagoon, an easily-missed attraction that’s home to great blue herons.
