What To Expect
Enjoy the evening of July 16, 2016 on a gondola during one of the Venetians' most treasured festivities: IL REDENTORE. The traditional celebration is famous for its spectacular fireworks and its parade of brightly-lit and decorated boats, marking the end of the plague of 1567.
Sail to the best place to view the fireworks display. Join the waterways filled with festive boats and admire the banks of the canals lined with feasting and dancing. A play of lights and reflections will produce a kaleidoscope of colors that will reach the silhouetted spires, domes and bell towers of the city, creating a unique and amazing show that is accompanied by music as well. Soak in the breathtaking spectacle and enjoy the many activities including regattas, rowing competitions, and special services in the Redentore Church that is connected to Venice by a boat bridge built especially for this occasion.
