What To Expect
Gain a better understanding of Lithuania and its history in this tour of two historically significant sites in Vilnius!
Visit Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, the reconstructed palace that has served as the seat of the rulers of Lithuania and has witnessed the beginnings of Lithuanian statehood in the 13th century. Get to see the architectural and historical development of the palace with as you explore it's ancient ruins and artifacts to it's ceremonial halls which shows the Palace's progression through late Gothic, Renaissance and early Baroque architectural styles.
Next, proceed to a popular landmark in Vilnius - the Belfry of the Cathedral of Vilnius. Learn about this former part of the lower castle's fortifications and see the differences in architectural style of the different layers that were added over the years.
