About Warsaw Nozyk Synagogue

Founded by Zelman and Ryfka Nozyk in 1893, Nozyk Synagogue is Warsaw’s only operating synagogue today. It caters to about 1.3 million Jews in the city. Features include impressive interiors, the bema or raised pulpit, galleries, and a cabinet containing the Torah scrolls.
