Let us take you for an incredible adventure in an original Polish socialistic car, the Nysa 522. You will travel through time from the pre-war district of Praga to the socialistic center of Warsaw.

Description

Experience the bygone era of socialism through the typical blocks of flats, monumental palaces, squares, sculptures and much more. During the tour, you'll be able to see the remains of Communism in modern day Warsaw.

First stop of the tour is the city center to explore the streets that survived World War II. Here we enter gates, courtyards, staircases where you will see some of the buildings that still have bullet holes from the Warsaw Uprising.

Next, proceed to the last street of the Jewish Ghetto, a part of Warsaw that doesn't exist anymore. This area is the perfect place to talk about the cultural diversity that was so characteristic for Warsaw prior to the war.

Afterwards, visit the Constitution Square, Party House, Palace of Culture and Science, where you will see the way communists rebuilt the city with a huge dose of propaganda.

Our next stop is in Praga. What used to be a forgotten and dangerous part of the city, is now a lively bohemian district because of the artists that moved here. Experience the atmosphere of the local streets, old market, and the former vodka factory.

We'll have a typical Polish lunch in a milk bar before proceeding to discover another side of Praga - an old factory where the center of various activities are. Finally, we'll visit Museum of Life under Communism**, where you'll be able to explore a small apartment furnished in socialist style, a communist party member's office, a shop, a bar and a street from the era. You'll discover how people used to live and watch propaganda movies in the '50s. Opt to have a typical aperitif before returning back to your hotel.
