DC in a Day
See the World War II Memorial and the beautiful water arrangements, as well as the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Lincoln and Vietnam Veterans Memorials. Take the opportunity to grab a photo of the White House as you make a photo stop. The White House Visitor Center will allow you to see and feel what the interior of the actual White House looks like, without interrupting President Obama's schedule. View the new U.S. Capitol Visitor Center and take in the history of our Government and you'll see why it is such an enduring landmark. Your Capitol tour is pre-scheduled so no standing in lines. Mount Vernon and Arlington National Cemetery
In this tour, we will take you to George Washington's beloved plantation, Mount Vernon Estate. Tour the Mansion and the new, not to be missed, Education Center where you can see our first President's wooden teeth and much more. You'll want to pay your respects to the soldiers, statesmen and former slaves who are buried at Arlington National Cemetery. Visit the Tomb of the Unknowns and be moved as members of the U.S Third Infantry perform the Changing of the Guard ceremony. The lectured Tram ride through Arlington cemetery will also take you by the Lee Mansion stop at the Kennedy Grave site. On weekends, we'll also stop at Sections 54 and 55, Columbarium and Niche Wall, Section 60 and 9/11 Memorial.
