What To Expect
Go for an exciting 3-day tour of the Swiss Alps and two of the country's most popular mountain resorts: St. Moritz and the Zermatt. Visit these spectacular attractions aboard the Glacier Express, the widely popular Swiss train that travels across 91 tunnels, 291 bridges, and the Oberalp Pass, a steep mountain pass in the Swiss Alps.
Transfer by train (2nd class tickets) from any airport, border, or any destination in Switzerland to Zermatt. Enjoy your long ride on the panoramic train as you get the perfect opportunity to capture photos of the great view from outside. Pass through various tunnels and bridges that are expertly engineered to give you astounding views of the trees, bodies of water, mountains, and fields throughout the journey.
Arrive at Zermatt and enjoy a short walk from the station to your 3-star or 4-star hotel for check-in. During your stay in Zermatt, use some of the 2 for 1 offers in your Swiss Coupon Pass to further enjoy your stay. Walk around the car-free town's cobbled alleyways, go skiing, and discover the local cuisine before you spend the night in your hotel.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast in your Zermatt hotel, climb aboard again on the Glacier Express. Enjoy the panoramic views once more on your way to St. Moritz. Complimentary headphones are available to educate you about the construction of the train tracks that overcome the extreme altitude variations. Upon your arrival at St. Moritz, check into your hotel to rest for your exciting tour of the town.
Enjoy your breakfast in your St. Moritz hotel before embarking on a thrilling trip around town. Marvel at the vast amount of activities to choose from such as the traditional hiking, climbing, windsurfing, sailing, horse riding, rubber dinghy ride at the River Inn, and golfing at the four golf courses around the area. Once again, take advantage of the benefits and savings from your Swiss Coupon Pass. After a day full of fun physical activities, return to the airport, border, or your next holiday destination via train.
